Thank you for purchasing and listening to this CD. Over the years, friends have suggested that I record several of the songs in this collection, so here you go! Each song has a special meaning for me in one way or the other and there’s a story or two behind most of them. I hope you are moved by the music and challenged by the lyrics to walk more closely with our Savior.

It is a privilege for me to include Dustin’s song on this album. He is very humble in his giftedness and I had not heard the song until we were recording a track for him to use for his high school graduation. I fell in love with the song – and his voice. Thanks, Dustin, for allowing me to include your work on this album. Russell and I agree that this song is as good as anything we hear being published in the mainstream.

Thanks to my daughters, Kevie and Josie, for providing vocal harmonies. You have great voices and it was fun for me to work with you in the studio. I am blessed with a musical family. Speaking of which, this album would not be possible without Denise, my wife, and her extraordinary talent as a pianist. She is a “one-take wonder”, making very few mistakes – in music AND in life.  Thank you, Denise for your time, talent, constant support and love for me.

Thanks to Russell Dorch for your incredible talent and willingness to produce this album. Russell spent a lot of late nights pouring over ever nuance of every instrumental track and vocal. Those of us who know Russ well and have watched him work over the years are in awe of his many abilities and dogged determination to make every project the best it can be. This is our third project together and it is always a pleasure working with you.
